Hayden's 3rd Birthday & Babysitting Aubrina!

HAYDEN TURNS 3!!

Hayden had quite the "Thomas the Train" birthday weekend! Saturday night Aunt Steffy and Uncle Mike took both Hayden and Jackson to the Fox Theater to see Thomas Live! and then Hayden had a big Thomas birthday party on Sunday. Thomas was EVERYWHERE and all the kids seemed to have a great time.

BABYSITTING AUBRINA!!

The night that the boys went to see Thomas Live, Jey and I babysat Aubrey. We had such a great time with her. She is seriously probably the BEST baby I have ever met and lucky for us she just happens to be our niece. She never cried or screamed and was so content with whatever we decided to do. We took her on a walk, which she loved and played with her all night. I did make her mad just once that night when I was putting her to bed. I screwed up her bedtime routine and she made sure I knew that she did not like it nor appreciate it! Once we called Mike to figure out exactly what to do, she was happy as a clam again and fell right asleep. What a peanut she is!!

**SERIOUSLY! IS SHE NOT THE CUTIEST THING YOU'VE EVER SEEN???

Hilton Head, SC

Last weekend we ventured to Hilton Head, SC for a quick getaway. The weather was, to me unbearable...about 95 degrees both days! Jackson at his age finally really enjoyed the beach, sand and water. Jey taught him how to build a sandcastle and a little bit of what we like to call "swimming." Jackson was also taught a lesson in sunburn! Of course, we had him covered in sunscreen 50+ but Jey and I thought it would be "so nice to get a little color on our skin" so we didn't put any sunscreen on and a short 4 hours later, we were blistered!! Yes, literally lobster red and blistered! The pain was so intense I was popping 1000 mg of tylenol to stop the pain just so I could stand and sleep. The whole night Jackson would come up to me and touch my skin and say "oh hot Mommy, it hurts so bad!" :) Looking back now it was hilarious that even he knew how much pain we were in!! I have to say though now that the layers of skin have finally peeled, my skin is TAN!! Goal accomplished!

Here's Jey pasty white before the scortching! Jackson & I at Harbour Town, such fun!

Jey teaching Jackson how to build a castle! He brings his trusty friends...Heinekin!

Jackson & Hayden's 1st Sleepover!

JACKSON & HAYDEN'S SLEEPOVER!

Jackson and Hayden officially had their first sleepover and I have to say not only did the boys have a great time but Jey and I did as well. I knew we were in for chaos when shortly after Hayden arrived at the house the two boys went running and screaming through the house after the dog!! I think they probably ran laps around the house for 15 minutes straight! We all loved it with the exception of Preston. Poor Dog!

ENJOY THE PICTURES!

33 Weeks Update

33 Weeks Pregnant and the Countdown Begins......

Gosh, I literally can't believe that tomorrow I am actually 33 weeks! It really has flown by. Now the anxiety of having a newborn in the house again starts to overwhelm my mind. How will Jackson react to the new addition? What will her schedule be like and will she be a constant "barfer" like my niece, Aubrey. I remember Jackson having severe reflux like Aubrey and it was so frustrating. I would hate to have to go through that again. :/ Julianna weighed just about 4lbs last Monday and is growing right on target. I too obviously have finally started to gain weight as you can tell in my picture. My face is quite fat! :) We finally got Julianna's letters in for her room and that was quite the disaster trying to hang them!! Anyways, they are done and look really good. Here's a picture of the letters. They turned out really great and match her bedding just perfect!

UNDER CONTRACT!!

Hopefully for the last time our other house is under contract and we are praying it actually closes! The closing date is set for July 15th at the latest and I can speak for both Jey and I when I say that we are so happy. This one is definitely the most promising buyers we have had and so far so good!! The inspection was done on Friday so now we just wait to hear from their agent with, I'm sure a list of minor things to do.

Jackson and "The Potty!"

Jackson has done incredibly well this weekend with the potty. I only went through a total of 4 pull-ups Saturday and Sunday. Saturday he stayed in the same pull-up all day until he was put into his overnight diaper at bedtime!! Sunday though was when we went through the other 3 because of his two "mistakes!" He is for some reason not going #2 in the potty?? So that was our two mistakes today. But I'm really proud of him for how well he's doing!!

We are off to Hilton Head Island this weekend, even though my doctors said I shouldn't be going...I'm rebelling and going! The infant carseat is in the van so if for some reason something happens we are set! :) Jey and I cannot wait to just sit on the beach, relax and get away from all the stress here at home!

Mother's Day and Potty Training

My sweet little family gave me a wonderful Mother's Day this year!

I was sick the entire weekend but on Sunday, I felt somewhat good enough to mosey out to lunch at my favorite little pizzeria here in Gainesville. I was pampered with beautiful flowers, a new table and chair set for the deck and some much needed "quiet time!" Did I mention, I did not have to change any diapers that day? It was wonderful!

Jackson's last day of school is on Monday both of us are going to be sad. He starts back in August, so I just have to try to figure out a summer full of things to keep him busy. One major task I was going to take on starting next week was the dreaded POTTY TRAINING! To my surprise, Jackson has taken on this task alone and has done wonderful at teaching himself. The days that he is not in school he is using the potty completely on his own with no accidents. If its a day that he has to go to school, he tells me that he's not going to use the potty at school but only at home. It confuses me because when we are out and about he will use a public restroom. It's something about school he just won't use it there?? I guess it's a good thing that school is over on Monday so he gets into the 7 -day a week potty using routine! Potty training has been pretty simple for us, so far. I just hope he continues to head in the right direction.

Next weekend we are headed to Virginia for Memorial Day! This will be the 3rd year Jackson heads to the Strawberry Fest, which he loves. Mom and Dad are having the usual cookout and everyone's going to come over. Jackson will be happy to play with Gracey and Barron all weekend!
