To move or not to move??

Last week after such a long discussion weighing our options, Jey and I decided to take the house off the market!! We are no longer moving and are planning our long existence in this house. There are many reasons, one being that this house was built specifically for our liking and we really do love the house. We used to say it was "too big" for us but now with another baby on the way it's beginning to seem not "too big" after all. As we start to fill another bedroom, it's been extremely exciting to see our little family really growing. Plus, I think it's really hard for Jey to let go of his unfinished media room that he swears is going to be finished soon. Jackson loves his preschool and the school district we are in is great as the kids get older. So, here we stay for many years to come and we are both left happy with our decision to take it off the market!!

Now that we are staying in the house, it's time to really make it our own and start messing up walls!! :) This morning was my appointment with a muralist, Melissa. She was highly recommended to me by our painter and I'm am really pleased with what she and I discussed about the nursery. I had never seen her work until this morning and I was left feeling more confident with her abilities and the outcome should we decide to go this route.
I wasn't exactly 100% sure what I was wanting, but after showing her the bedding and some wall pieces she just ran with all these great ideas! Things I never really even imagined or thought of. Here are some examples of the nurseries she has done in the past:

Jey and I are definitely not doing cartoony stuff, but she is wonderful at realistic painting and does everything freehand which is even nicer. I realized after doing Jackson's nursery that cartoony stuff just needs to be changed out a couple years later, so I am making this nursery something that the baby can grow into over the years!! I'm even thinking about having her do some stuff in Jackson's room. His room really needs to be personalized for him...its pretty plain right now.
Spring Cleaning starts this week, well at least for one day because I'm working tomorrow night!!

Updated Ultrasound Pictures

I've finally made it to a little over 21 weeks and I'm thrilled to be officially a little over half way! Today's appointment brought much excitement for us. I have been "released" from high-risk as of todays appointment and only need to be seen by my regular physician. The baby is on the small side but I'm hoping I can eventually gain some weight and get the baby to grow a little faster. "J" is measuring a week behind, which is normal and weighs a whole 12oz! It's hard to imagine that over the next few months the baby is going to gain a ton of weight. I'm feeling good and hoping in the near future to add nothing but maternity clothing to my wardrobe. Here's a picture of the baby's face looking right at us. Chubby little cheeks and the little nose looks just like Jacksons.

Jackson is still sick and grumpy! Very exhausting for all involved. After today's doctors appointment he is back on breathing treatments for the next 3-4 days to clear his chest and cough. I'm hoping this pumpkin gets better soon!!

I just got the pictures that Stephanie took of Jey and I with Aubrey the first time we met her, so enjoy them!! (I'm not sure why they are so small??)

Our niece and cousin, Aubrey arrives!

March 6th, 2009 was a very exciting day for us. Aubrey, a tiny 6lbs. 3 oz and 19.5 in. long little girl was born! For Jey and I, Aubrey is our second niece and we are thrilled to have her around now to teach these boys how to play with dolls! :) Look at this "first moments" picture of her. I think shes going to be able to keep up with the two boys just fine.

Hayden is doing extremely well and is such a big helper! We three had the pleasure of going over to meet "Baby Aubrey" this past week and surprisingly, I walked in and walked right past her laying in her little chair. I honestly thought it was a play doll for Hayden to practice with, until I looked closer and realized that NO this was her! She really looks just like a little baby doll! She is very quiet, sweet and just perfect. I couldn't believe that Jackson was just as small...how quickly you forget when they are growing up so fast each day. Stephanie and Mike are doing well. Mike has been off this past week in order to make the adjustment going from one child to two as smooth as possible.

She has beautiful dark brown hair and dark bluish/brown eyes; which I think are going to turn completely brown. She has her daddy's complexion and all the dark hair and eyes but her little face looks just like mommys. I do have to add that her teeny, tiny nose looks JUST like her big brother, Haydens. It is so cute. Here are some additional pictures of the new family of 4!
CONGRATULATIONS MIKE, STEPHANIE, HAYDEN & AUBREY!! We are so happy to have Aubrey as a niece and Jackson is excited to have his new cousin, "Baby Aurrey!"

Virginia Trip

Our trip to Virginia was one of many things. Jey was put to work on the remodeling of the house, Jackson and I were part of Gracey's fan club for her cheer competition, and my Mom was working the entire weekend...no fault of her own. But, nonetheless, we had a wonderful time. It seems to go by so fast when we are there!
The house remodel is looking fantastic and we were both shocked to see how much they were really doing. I say it's short of tearing it down and starting over!! It looks great and adds so much more room to the house, once it's completely finished it's going to look more amazing then it does now. I'm pleased to say that Jey has put his own little touch on it and worked on the house with Dad this weekend.

Gracey's Gym, Platinum Cheer did fantastic this weekend and they won 2nd place in Nationals! She fits right in on her team and all the girls are great! Jackson and I had a great time watching her and are so proud!! Way to Go, Gracey!!!
As always, the three kids always have a great time together...so here are some pictures of them having a good time in the bath! I have to say my sister and I were soaked when we left the bathroom from all the splashing! Fun Times! Oh, Jey and Jackson also played the Wii for the first time..so I had to take a pictures of that. It was hilarious!

Pictorial of the past & present....

And the journey begins.....

Our first day home...I remember that day so well. Lack of sleep was realized at that very moment!

One of the many nights Jey was up with me. I must say that he was really good at getting up in the middle of the night for feedings!

I just absolutely LOVE this picture, he looks so sweet and innocent!

Definitely, one of my favorites. His smile and blue eyes can brighten my day!

He was 19 months in this picture. This picture describes Jackson so well. I can see his personality it in so much.

Now he's 2 1/2 and still the sweet and innocent little boy that he was back in his early on pictures. Nothing has changed! I only hope he continues to be as loving and sweet as he continues to grow!
