Easter

This year Easter was at my house. We had a full house and it was chaotic and wonderful!! :) From the time Hayden (our nephew) arrived at the house, until everyone left the two boys were playing non-stop. It was so enjoyable to not have to worry about watching either one of them. They are so self efficient with eachother, it's GREAT!
Here is the latest "Netzel Family" Portrait taken so nicely by Jey's Aunt Jan. Please note the newest addition, Aubrey. She was just about 5 1/2 weeks old in this easter picture. I must say that I got to spend a lot of time holding her. She's just a little peanut, I'll post a picture of that too. I didn't want to put her down for a second.

This weekend is Jackson's 3rd Birthday Party and we are expecting my parents in town today and Jackson is thrilled. I must admit, I am so excited too because he loves to spend time with them. We are on an "every other month" visit lately and it's really worked out well. Jackson's having a few friends over on Saturday and I've rented one of those big jumpers. I'm not so sure how well that will go over because he's very cautious. I really doubt that he will actually get in the thing and jump around with the other kids, but maybe if he see's Hayden doing it he'll get in there. Jey and I were just talking last night about how we can't believe he is 3 already and the fact that we are going to have a 3 year old!! We are getting old!
I will post some birthday pictures as soon as I can!

We Love Spring!

I know that I am so happy to have Spring finally here. April always seems to be such a busy month for us and this year is no exception. With Easter this week, which Jey and I are hosting at our house and Jackson's 3rd Birthday Party on the 25th, it is somewhat overwhelming the multitude of lists that I have around the house, in my purse and in my car of things that need to get done before family and guests arrive. I can speak on behalf of both Jey and I when I say that we will be happy to see the month of May arrive and the thought of to-do lists are a thing of the past.

This week, Jackson has been on Spring Break and the poor thing has not done much. I am working and running errands all week. He did go to Grandma Cathy's on Tuesday and will be back there on Friday, which is about the only fun he is having this week!! He keeps asking me if he can go to school---I'm not sure how he's going to deal with being out for the summer next month.

With April being such a busy month for us, we've decided we might as well start the mural in the nursery...why not, when the whole house and yard is in disarray?? She started painting on Tuesday and has been here every day since then. Jey and I are really excited about how it's turning out and am so happy that we decided to use her. I can only show one picture of one of the little critters on the wall because if I show too much, the arrival of our sweetpea will no longer be a surprise. The picture I have posted is of a tree frog, which I absolutely love!! They are so cute!! Jey and I added a lot of things that we liked in the mural, which Melissa can execute so well. I'm assuming with about another week of her coming every day we will be done by Jackson's birthday which will be a relief and yet another thing crossed off our lists! The new furniture came in and Jey put it all together a few nights ago. I love the dark color and with the mural on the wall, the colors really pop in the room. Now, if only we could come up with something to do in Jackson's room. It's quite the dilemma!

Jey has been extremely busy with Everlast and is doing really well, even in this "rough economy." I hate not having him home during the day with me and by the time he gets home, I'm exhausted from having Jackson all day and being pregnant that I stay up barely for dinner and go straight to bed. I will be really happy once all his employees are completely and fully trained so he can stop micromanaging so much. Oh well, it is what it is...I'm just really happy that he's doing what he loves and yet again it's working out for him. He did surprise me last week by planting another beautiful cherry blossom tree in the backyard. I absolutely LOVE cherry blossoms and the one in the front yard just wasn't enough for me and for awhile had been asking him to plant another one somewhere. Months later (better then never) I have a beautiful cherry blossom in the backyard!!! So exciting!! :)
